Q: What is a healthy BMI?
A: A healthy Body Mass Index or BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9. Overweight is between 25-29.9 and

Q: What is Ketosis?
A: Ketosis refers to elevated levels of ketones in your bloodstream. After you have been on a
Medifast program for approximately 3 days, your body builds ketosis levels and uses ketones as fuels.
At this point you should notice increased energy and less hunger because your body is using your fat
cells for energy.
Q: What are the benefits of Soy Protein in Medifast?
A: The FDA has determined that 25 grams of soy protein per day, as part of a diet low in
saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. Any product making the healthy
